Francis Doherty Kendig., age 53 passed away on January 28, 2012. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Beloved son of Anne Simpson (nee Carroll) and step father Robert B. Simpson, loving brother of William, Gregory (Theresa), and Mark (Melissa) Kendig. Also survived by step siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and 1 grand nephew and 1 grand niece. Predeceased by his father William James Doherty, and his adopted father John L. Kendig
Visitation, Tuesday after 8:45 A.M. at St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church 615 South Providence, Funeral Mass. Tuesday 10 A.M. at St. John Chrysostom, Interment Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery Springfield PA 19064.
