John W. Harris, 46 , of Ridley Park and a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, died suddenly on February 6, 2012. John was a devoted family man who especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and hosting his 4th of July party. He was also known to be an excellent cook. He is survived by his parents Sue and Chuck Gallagher; his wife Diane (nee Adams) Harris; his children Amanda (John) Twesten-White, Jeremy Twesten, Craig Twesten, Katie (Paul) Stow and Natasha Reeves; his siblings James Harris, Susan Harbison and Roman Harris; three grandchildren Devon, Brianna, and Paisley; and also survived by his brother-in-law Howard, his three nephews and a niece. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Friday after 10 AM at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood followed by a service at 11AM. Friends may also call at Cavanagh's Thursday evening 6 to 8 PM. Interment private.
