Mrs. Kathleen A. McCone

Kathleen A. McCone, 57, of Aston, formerly of SW Philadelphia, passed away on January 23, 2012 at Taylor Hospice. She was born December 8, 1954 in Philadelphia the daughter of the late John McCone and Catherine (nee O'Connell) McCormick. Kathleen enjoyed listening to music especially Patsy Cline and was very proud of her Irish Heritage. She also enjoyed going to the Wildwood shore, dancing, fishing and the Mummers. She is survived by her son Joseph LaGrossa III; her stepfather William McCormick; her siblings Jack McCone (Barb), Monica Matzuras (George), Thomas McCormick (Lisa), Jana Delea and Christian McCone; and also survived by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her dog Velvet. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Thursday evening from 6pm until her Funeral Service at 8pm at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home 301 Chester Pike, Norwood. Interment private.
