Omeda (nee Craig) Williams, 96, a longtime resident of Swarthmorewood, Ridley Twp., passed away on January 31, 2012 at Taylor Hospital. She was born March 7, 1915 in Pennsgrove NJ the daughter of the late George W. and Mary (nee Biddle) Craig. Omeda was a loving and devoted family woman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Linden Williams, her son Harry Williams and three grandchildren, Debbie Leach, Edward Williams, Tammy Williams. She is survived by her children Ronald Williams of Eddystone, PA, George Williams of Murrells Inlet, SC and Linda Atkins of Stevens, PA; her two sisters Laura Hibbs of Boothwyn, PA and Audrey Rice of Swarthmore, Pa; and also survived by her twelve grandchildren, Cheryl Anne Borsuk, Harry Williams, Barry Williams, Linden Williams, Scott Kessler, Denise Beale, Linnette Beale Johnson, Danny Williams, Linda Sadonio, Eric Williams, Michael Williams, Jaime Williams, twenty two great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Sunday from 5-7pm and Monday from 11am until her Funeral Service at 12 noon at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home 301 Chester Pike, Norwood. Interment will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
